Opera Company has launched Opera Neon, the first ‘AI agent’ bRowser that aimsto redefine the role of browsers on the web. DEVElopers said that through AI -driven features, Neon can understand user intentions and turn them intoactionable steps, thus enhancing the user experience.
Opera Neon consists of three key functional modules. Neon Chat is anintelligent chatbot. While users browse the web, it offers real – timecontextual information, aids in information retrieval, and can performoperations similar to CoPilot or chatgpt.
Neon Do is an upgraded ‘browser operator’. It can understand web contentand carry out a series of user – behalf actions, such as filling forms,booking travel, and Shopping. All AI processing is done locally, ensuring thesecurity and privacy of user data.
Neon Make , an ‘unprecedented browser’ according to Opera, can use cloudtechnology to execute complex tasks, even when users are offline. It cangenerate reports, design game prototypes, build web applications, and writecode, significantly improving work efficiency.
Opera emphasizes privacy protection in Neon. By analyzing DOM trees and layoutdata instead of pixels or virtual pointers, Neon enhances privacy whileimproving system speed and efficiency. It helps non – technical users createonline content, turning ideas into shareable digital content.
